Any suggestions for teaching English NOT to groups of children?

Hi all. I’m looking into moving to Japan to teach English for a while, but I don’t really like children and I’d much prefer solo/small groups, which seems to limit my options massively. I’ve ruled out ALT work completely, which leaves eikaiwa, but even there a lot of them seem to be child-focused. I know GABA’s reputation is in the toilet right now (more so than usual), but is there anywhere else which offers a similar focus on solo students? If not I may have no choice but to try them!

To pre-empt some possible questions:

1) I have (rusty) JLPT N2 and have already lived in Japan for a year while studying, just not worked there yet.

2) I have a CELTA for teaching English but no experience. I do have experience teaching one-to-one Japanese.

3) Before anyone asks “Are you that desperate to work in Japan?” Yes. Not because I have a rose-tinted view of Japan, but because I’m desperate for a job. I can’t find work here, so even a bad job in Japan is better than nothing.

Many thanks in advance for any help!
