Interview for an ES homeroom teacher position

I applied for a homeroom teacher position at an international private school. I’m applying to various places and didn’t think anything would come of it tbh, especially since I don’t have a teaching license.
However, in their job ad it doesn’t say that a license is a requirement (though I’m pretty sure you need one to be a homeroom teacher). They have my CV and nowhere does it say I have a license. I checked their own website, and there it says you need a license. So should I just politely decline the interview? Or do the interview and ask about it? They seem like a pretty good private school so i don’t see why they’d hire a non-licensed teacher as their homeroom teacher. Is it possible to get licensed while doing the job? I feel like no right? I’m just a little confused about it all.

*Edit –
As many of you have pointed out, it is actually an immersion/bilingual school (I guess it just has international in the name). Since some of you have also said that it is possible, I guess there’s no harm in going for the interview. It sounds like a good position, and it’s definitely what I’m looking for. I was just unsure whether doing it without a license is possible but apparently it is. Thanks all!
