I’ll be moving to Kusatsu, Shiga in a few weeks and was planning to pre order a Sakura Mobile Sim card and I inquired with them about the compatibility of my device and apparently my device doesn’t support band 19 (they stated and i quote “rural areas, mountains, lakes, islands and suburbs of Kyoto, nara and hokkaido use band 19”) and I might have difficulty connecting if I go to remote or rural areas. That got me wondering if Kusatsu (nojihigashi especially) is rural or not? If not should I buy a new phone that supports band 19?
