  1. Bro what the fuck. We’ve got so many people out here trying to do good and fit in/help the local community, and all of that gets overshadowed by idiots like this who can’t grow the hell up. This guy needs punished to the maximum extent of the law. Fucking detain this dude, let him sit in a japanese prison for a long ass time.

  8. I learned not all Marines are honorable in SOI in 1988. We were on libbo in Oceanside and a stranger Marine asked if he could use our head. Me and 4 other Marines were standing outside our motel door we got for the weekend. Stranger had a high and tight, looked fit etc. Marines red hoodie. After a few minutes one of the jarheads opens the door to the head and the guy was shooting up heroin. We pulled him out, he got punched a few times and we sent him on his way…

  9. If the military would let morons like this be prosecuted and dealt with by local courts and then dishonorably discharge them after their sentence is served, it may go a long way to reducing the animosity.

  10. Holy shit. Me and my buddies are out in Japan right now. We were in Okinawa last week at a Wine bar and there were two complete asshats being disrespectful and creepy to women in there. We tried our best to ignore and not talk to them but they ended up seeing we were also American and started up a conversation. One said he was Army and the other said he was Marine. I have a sneaking suspicion in my gut that this may be one of those asshats. If only they had a picture of said perpetrator.

  17. Happens every time in places that have big bases with military presence. And this crime is minor to them, they usually do much worse things and get away with it.

  18. Okinawan nikkeijin here. I am grateful to the bases’ contribution to the economy and my family in general…. and i was pro base for a very long time… but now i am starting to flip to the anti-base side.

    The small percentage of soldiers who do this kind of crap is just too much. Also please no more rapes.
