I would do between 10-25, I would slow way down when my reviews started to add up.
when they start to add up too much i usually turn the new cards to 0 for a few days so i can work through them without being overwhelmed. Im a complete beginner tho so i don’t know if this is the best way to use anki but it works for me

I think there might be sufficient demand for a separate sub that does nothing but swap opinions and statistics about their Anki decks.
I usually have 3 decks, 6 new cards a day for each 3. I usually got to the point where I would review about 100 cards each deck if I wasn’t failing cards, that’s about 30 minutes which isn’t too bad, usually I split it up.
