Using Wise with a preloaded balance

I had loaded up my wise card in anticipation of a trip which included buying things for a house, like large appliances.

What I didn’t realize was that even with preloaded balance card has pre-set low limits.

You can go into app and change to max. Eg $2000/day for a PIN payment, or $1000 /day for contactless, online, etc

I didn’t realize why my card was being declined until after!-(

Also some stores will allow you to break a charge into different. Amounts so you can pay to limit and then rest on other card.
