What are the best places around Kyoto that are kind of close to nature and have relatively affordable housing (renting or eventually buying a detached house is my dream)? Ideally no more than 30-60 minute train/motorbike ride from central Kyoto.
I'm still at an early stage of doing research before considering a move for a few years, so will appreciate all answers
