Hey all. I have plans to move to Japan sometime next year / year after the next. Pretty much got everything sorted out regarding the visas and such
. My only remaining concern is that am i obligated to pay taxes in Japan if my work is a work-from-home type in my home country? All my main income stream goes to the bank account in my home country (Malaysia) and my plan is to transfer money from said bank account to my Japanese one whenever i need money. If this is the case then do i have to pay taxes in Japan? As i have to pay the taxes in my home country (Malaysia) if the income goes into my main bank account there.
And i do have plans to buy a car and possibly a house in Shin Yokohama too, aside from property and acquisition taxes do i also have to file an annual tax profile or?
Helpful answers are much appreciated!
