Hey guys, 3rd year SHS ALT here looking for some advice. At my HS, I’ve been asked to take part in our Online Learning day this week. The entire grade of students will stay home and take part in the class over Microsoft Teams all at once. The JTEs have allocated about 15-20 minutes of the lesson to “Have Fun With The ALT”, in which they want me to run some sort of activity.
As far as I know, the students cannot speak during the video conference, except when sent to breakout rooms. I’ve been wracking my brains for the last few days trying to figure out how to make this work.
I’ve completely drawn a blank.
Assuming some of you did some work during Covid, have any of you been asked to do any activities/games over Zoom/Teams? What did you do (and how did it go)?
