This week I made insane progress after I started reading my first light novel, at first I couldn’t understand anything, but I kept pushing through, I already knew like 2k words so I knew the problem was in the grammar. Restudied basic grammar from curedolly and it started clicking, it took some time to get used to it though.
In 4 days i went from reading like 5 paragraphs a day to reading a chapter at once of また、同じ夢を見ていた
This week I started learning my first kanji! I’ve been able to recognize them in context now. It feels amazing!
I’ve been super lax about any reading but I finally picked back up the novel I was getting thru last year again. Had to go back a chapter to figure out where the hell I was but it was easier this time, I’m surprised I maintained as much vocab as I did.
