Hi guys its me again, I'm a little but scared to post this question on this sub because reddit might delete it or not, lol.
Anyways, my question is for the people who decided to move to Okinawa from another prefecture in Japan.
Not for the people who works in the military or miltary spouses.
I've been working at Costco since the year 2022 and this year, there's a new Costco that opened in Nanjo, which I did went assisting the new employees that they hired in Nanjo for 9 days.
Now, I got an email from Nanjo's Costco Warehouse Manager that they're giving second chances to people who have failed the interview, last year. (Short back story: I did applied for Okinawa but got denied because I've only been working less than a year and they thought that my experience wasn't enough for them to hire me)
The problem is, I don't have the finances to move to Okinawa immediately which my managers wants me to move in within this month or next month due to being short staff. Ideally, I'd want to move in December, which I told my manager and told her my concerns. She told me that, there's a possibility that I might fail to get accepted the second time around because they really need people ASAP. Also, Costco is not going to provide me any financial help for my move. I'm all on my own.
I've been researching about the culture and the costs of living,
Last night, I looked up how much it would costs to move from one prefecture in Japan to Okinawa, some said they need approximately ¥400,000~800,000 including the plane tickets, moving company, and apartments (downpayment, landlord payment aka 礼金, insurance of the apartment one is staying, and so on and on)
I really don't want to miss this opportunity because I really love Okinawa. It would be nice to be able to relocate but I'm concerned about how much do I need to save for relocation?
Not just apartment or plane ticket but my expenses aswell, such as water bill, electricity bill, groceries, gas etc. Etc.
If you guys have any tips or hacks or information on how I can move to Okinawa at a cheaper price it would be very helpful.
Wish you all would have a wonderful day.
