Decided not to stay

So as the title suggests, I decided I don't want to stay for another year on JET. I understand that this is a major decision and I understand that everyone around me has counted on me staying for another year. I don't care how much I have to pay to leave (don't care about plane ticket reimbursement much.)

I just want advice on how to get my supervisor and other teachers/staff to not guilt trip me into staying. Or rather how to tell them nicely that their opinion won't change my mind.

Also, they keep saying that the schools I work at will be out of an ALT until next year (2025) if I leave now. Is this true?

Update: After finally discussing it with everyone, I was allowed to officially leave. Thank you to everyone who was telling me to stand my ground, it really helped. Now, I'm stressing about the moving logistics but grateful I can go back home to my loved ones.
