Hello. Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched around and have not found the exact info I need. My contract ends July 31st, after that they are also kicking me out of my apartment to make room for my replacement. I know I am allowed to stay until the end of August and they are saying my flight home is around August 20th (they have not given me an exact date yet).
I have a place to stay for the three or so weeks, but there saying because my contract has ended and because they kicked me out of my apartment I need to change my visa status for these last 3 weeks. This doesn’t make sense to me as I know I have a month grace period and my visa technically doesn’t end until October. Does this make sense to you guys? And if so what exactly do I have to do here?
