Hello, I'm a doctoral student from Korea currently studying Counselor Education in the US. While there are distinctions, it's akin to a psychology major. I'm curious about the feasibility of a foreigner securing a tenured faculty position in Japan without a Japanese degree. My observations thus far have primarily shown faculty members in psychology holding degrees obtained in Japan.
Could anyone provide me with some tips if it's possible?
