I was discussing long term plans with my tutor. We are currently halfway through the quartet 1 textbook (n3 level) and she said after quartet 2 (n2 level) she would probably have to stop teaching me because she isn't as confident in n1 level material (she isn't native) and that theres not a need for a tutor at that level. I was wondering if when I get to that point a 1 on 1 tutor is still worth it? Ideally I'd be going to language school at that point, but if I can't im curious if a (native) tutor would have anything to offer or if it's more practical to just self study and immerse without guidance from a tutor.
Currently do 2 1 hour sessions with my tutor per week. Not really concerned about the cost of a tutor, but if it's a waste of money id like to know.
