I looked up an explanation as to what the meaning of the title was in Japanese and while the answer was very detailed, it actually instilled some confusion in me as to how the "no" particle works.
Basically, among the possible translations, the title "進撃の巨人" can be both "Advance of the Giants" and "Giant's Advance".
I guess what I'm not understanding is how this is the case? Wouldn't "Giant's Advance" be "巨人の進撃"?
This is the explanation in question for reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/ShingekiNoKyojin/comments/1ootio/comment/ccu7vt7/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
I might also be misunderstanding this explanation, so any clarification would be appreciated!
