would i face much xenophobia being half white half chinese?

for a variety of reasons i wont get into im considering moving

but i wondered whether i would face any problems being mixed chinese?

im half southern chinese with some viet ancestry on my mothers side and half british on my fathers

my appearance is a wierd state where i dont particularly look white or asian but im more white passing when pale and asian passing when a bit tanned

i already face a lot of both subtle and non subtle racism where i live (a rural part of the uk) and wondered whether i would be better or worse in a japanese city
