Hi peeps so I’ll be moving to japan in an year from now as a software engineer in a dispatch company where I will be a permanent employee but would be working on a contractual basis for the company’s client companies once I graduate from my university….
The catch is that my salary would be 3.3 mil yen or around 2.8 mil yen post tax (which is peanuts ik 🙁 but due to circumstances this is the best job offer I have as of now)….
My goal is that while I am still free I would like to upskill and get better so that I can try for a job switch to get a better salary and for which I needed some tips…
I have a background in data science and LLMs but would like to know what’s currently the kind of tech stack being worked upon over there… Also if data science is not the way to go then what other domains can I try learning such as- web dev etc and what tech stack can I go over for the same…
Alongside this I am also preparing for JLPT so there is that as well… If there is anything else I could do or learn I would really appreciate your support… Thank you :3
