I am of course doing all the research I can, but if anyone here has anything to say on the matter it'd be great to hear some personal experiences/opinions here and there as opposed to just filtering through all the advertising/media biased journalism waffle.
Im a 21 year old guy in the UK, worked a year in retail, around 2 years on a farm and did the book-keeping and some accounting for my dads company for 2 years. I did reasonably well in my GCSEs but poorly in my A levels.
I want to do something big whilst I'm without ties or responsibilities and I really like Japan. I've been to a handful of places there and the idea of living in some rural town for however many months long the work visa is, doing some form of manual labour or something similar, sounds absolutely perfect.
What is the likelihood of that actually happening? would I have to move to a city instead due to job markets/ease of living? My Japanese is coming along so I doubt the language barrier will be much of a problem, but I understand that as a foreigner certain things can still be complicated/problematic even if you're able to speak the language well.
Again, any input is welcome.
