Zack Sabre Jr gets V2 over Shingo Takagi in a great Main Event. Takagi pushed ZSJ to his limit, but ultimately Sabre's fantastic work on Takagi's right leg prevented the NEVER Openweight Champion to finish the job and the Front Man connected a Zack Driver to retain.
Afterwards, bot only did Shota Umino challenge him at a future date of Zack's choice but Ricochet made his return to New Japan after 7 years, attacking ZSJ before throwing his challenge for Wrestle Dynasty, which is quite interesting considering it's, you know, the day after WK. Finally, Shota vs Zack became official for Wrestle Kingdom as Umino made the save for ZSJ, but then hit him with a Death Rider after Sabre attacked him while staring at Ricochet.
