I’m planning to buy a used folding bike in Osaka and bring it back to the Philippines. Has anyone done this before?
Specifically, I’m curious about:
1. Is it allowed to bring a folding bike as checked luggage? What are the airline policies, size restrictions, or extra fees I should expect?
2. Would shipping it separately via cargo or courier be a better option?
3. Are there customs duties or taxes I’ll need to pay when bringing it into the Philippines?
4. Given the effort and costs, is it practical to bring a used folding bike, or would it be better to just buy one locally?
