Sentence Starters (For Formal Writing) – Good Resources?

TL;DR tired of starting all my sentences with でも、しかし、そうとは言え or それで. Anyone know any good resources for connectives and sentence starters for formal writing in Japanese?

  1. Nobody starts sentences in that way.
What you wrote its used to connect sentences or give more information about the topic.

  2. These words are called 接続詞. They are used not to start sentences, but to link different sentences and thoughts together. They are located at the beginning of the sentence, but they are not sentence starters. Wikipedia has a nice list of them, you can also google 接続詞 for alternative lists: [https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%8E%A5%E7%B6%9A%E8%A9%9E](https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%8E%A5%E7%B6%9A%E8%A9%9E)
