Public transport during the new year

Hi, I am travelling to Okinawa on 12/31 to 1/5.
I plan to stay in Naha 2N , American Village 2N and Churaumi 1N.

I wanted to ask if there is public transportation available during this period, as I read/heard somewhere that it might not be available.
