Do you think new Japan has just given up on the UK scene?

So I just saw the Royal Quest 4 card & to me its looking pretty dull. To me the card feels last minute. There aren't any matches that are must see. The only thing probably worth watching is seeing Zsj walk into his home as the world champion.

Outside of that, what is there to be excited for. It feels to me like new Japan have just taken a step back from the Uk.

The first RQ show did really well with a 6,119 Attendance. They had a big main event and strong undercard bouts that made it feel like new Japan.

The second RQ did two nights in 2022 once the pandemic died down.

Night 1: 2,137 attendees
Night 2: 1,966 attendees
Combined: 4,133 attendees

The show had a memorable Tag Main event. And a solid card with a lot of top new japan talent on it.

And then last year's RQ3, had ZSJ vs Ospreay which was a great main event. But they did 3,191, with not much marketing or importance for the rest of the card.

And we got RQ4 and I don't see much improvement from last year's card. It just seems like with AEW and WWE going to the UK for their big shows. New Japan doesn't care much about putting on a big show for it.
