Freelance income while on a student visa in Japan

Hi, so I'm moving to Japan in around September this year on a student visa. I also do freelance video editing/lyric videos and YouTube thumbnails etc. for my regular clients through Twitter, so it's not on a contract basis and not a fixed/stable source of income. I live with my parents and they are sponsoring my studies so that won't be an issue. I just wanted to know if, along with a part time job in Japan, I can do these projects whenever I receive them on the weekends for some extra money.

I did search about this topic but all I could find was people who work on a contract basis for companies so it doesn't really apply to me at all since I'm kinda running a business/commission thing. I could just ask at the consulate when I go there to submit my COE but if anyone has any experience regarding this I'd love to know it beforehand and plan accordingly.

I thought since maybe it's my hobby work I do in my private free time at home, and since my PayPal is connected to my Indian bank account, I could be allowed to send that money over from that account to a Japanese bank account without permission from immigration. But I'm not going to do anything till I'm 100% sure lol so any advice would be appreciated!
