I was thinking about stopping by matsumokiyoshi (i think i spelt that right) what form of ID do they take for alcohol I have my residence card health card and passport but my Japanese isn’t the best so I’m not sure what to show.

90% chance they won’t ask for an ID. Any of the above should work.
I’ve never seen anyone get asked for ID here. How old are you?
Do you look older than 12? You won’t need one.
(just curious) Is that really cheaper? I haven’t gone to a drug store to buy alcohol.
I have never been carded here. Conbini, restaurants, bars…
I tried to show them my ID once and they didn’t care. Maybe that’s the benefit of being a foreigner.
