I am currently a college student pursuing East Asian Studies and one of my assignments is to have an informal interview with someone who is the field I am choosing to pursue in the future to gain insight on the career and the path you took to get there. I am struggling to find someone to interview because I don't know anyone in the field I want which is to be a professor. For reference the reason I am asking in this group is because I am moving to Japan in March and when I do obviously finish school (which will be years from now because I'll be pursuing my masters and then PhD first) I would obviously need to work there because I'll be living there. It does not have to be someone who is teaching anything related to East Asian Studies I just need someone who is teaching there. Thanks in advance! I promise it will be a quick 15 minute interview, I won't take a lot of time.
