150 hours requirement for Japanese language schools

For my nationality, 150 hours certification of having studied Japanese or the JLPT N5 is a pre-requisite for getting into Japanese language schools. Since I am working during the weekdays, I'd prefer to get the certification at my own pace.

I came across GGN's 12 week beginner course which states that I'll be provided with a certificate of having studied 150 hours post successful completion. However, another blog post by them states "Another option for prospective students who need to complete the 150 hour Japanese study requirement is our 12-week beginner course and our pre-intermediate online course."

  1. Will the certificate issued by GGN be valid for student visa applications (since it'll be a self-paced online course)?
  2. Will the 12 week beginner course suffice or will I be required to take their pre-intermediate online course as well for the certificate?
