Hello everyone!
A little background before I present my question to the community.
I am an Argentinean living in New Zealand with my partner (she is Japanese) and we are thinking of moving to Japan with the idea of starting some kind of business together like a small cafe/restaurant or a tap bar with some homemade beers with a menu of homemade food.
I know that the subject of beer is quite complex in Japan but it is just an idea. I would love to be able to make beer since I am a chemical technician and I love the whole process of brewing beer.
The thing is, I would like to read your experiences of life in Japan, if you have opened a business, what is the perception of Japanese people about foreigners living there, what I could work in if I needed to, what places you recommend and if you have information, more or less, about the costs necessary to start a business like the one I mentioned, you will be welcome, etc…
I really want to take the plunge and go to the land of the rising sun, since I would go there with my girlfriend, a great little advantage although I don't want to depend on her all the time. But at the same time it terrifies me, being 36 years old and not speaking the language very well, although it is something I know I will learn quickly living there.
The good vibes in advance are appreciated.
THANK YOU!
