Hi, I hope you can give an insight to this itinerary. Flights are booked so comments on how hot it gets is appreciated but tips on how to combat the heat is greatly appreciated.
This is for 2 adults and a toddler. We will be in Okinawa from 26th June to 5th July.
4 days in Naha with car rental and 5 days in Ishigaki (possibly with car rental).
Day 1:
Okinawa World
American Village
Accommodation in Nago
Day 2:
Genki Village
Okinawa Aquarium
Ending the day at a beach
Day 3:
Daisekirinzan
Ta-taki Waterfall
Day 4:
Blue Cave
Accommodation in Naha for flight to Ishigaki
Day 5-9
Flight to Ishigaki
Private tour
It's still a rough draft but any input would be greatly appreciated!

I would definitely consider a car in Ishigaki as just using it for the trip to the town or hotel from the airport are so much easier with a car. I suspect that you’ll use it every day if you plan to visit places around the island.
I’m not sure where you are coming from but easy way to describe the weather hot and humid. Much like Florida if you’ve been before. Upper 80’s to low to mid 90’s (low to mid 30’s C) and 90+% humidity. Ways to stay comfortable is wear synthetics, shorts, t-shirts and flip flops are a must, stay hydrated, wear hats and have plenty of sun screen when outdoors. Vending machines and
Convenience stores are everywhere and your friend.
