This question randomly came to me. Bishamon is a team since 2021 that has been the flagship team for the heavy Division. And they've had some awesome tag bouts against a variety of teams. But which teams really pushed them the most?
I generally for me from a story perspective it was probably Dangerous Tekkers. They were the first team they fought for the IWGP Tag titles and they were the team they beat to win those titles at the dome. It was a big factor in Yoshi Hashis development to where he is now. And for Goto as well to hold gold once again with a new fire.
But from in ring quality I would say Aussie Open were the perfect team for Bishamon to have bouts with. They only had two matches against each other. But both matches had something to them that make them standout. Last year before Aussie Open left it really felt like a 3rd match between the two teams was bound to happen. Now that's not happening any time soon.
