Hello everyone, I am trying to do a presentation about Utagawa Kuniyoshi and his series "猫の當字". Specifically I want to understand why in his picture "なまず" the "ず" seems to be written totally different, or I just simply can't figure out why the cats are arranged in that way. Please help me understand! Thank you so much in advance.
