Hello, I'm new to Reddit, but I can't seem to find this answer anywhere else. I'm planning a trip to Japan in February and I love wearing costume jewelry, especially from Shein. I also like to overaccessorize, so I might wear a ring on each finger, bracelets on both hands, and stacked necklaces.
I came across this information on the customs website:
"When carrying gold bullion or gold products into Japan, please check 'Yes' for the question '1. ® Gold bullion or products of gold' on the 'Declaration of Accompanied Articles and Unaccompanied Articles, regardless of their quantity, weight, value, or whether they're new or not."
Additionally, if you're carrying more than 1 kilogram of gold bullion with a purity of 90% or higher into Japan, you must submit a 'Declaration of Carrying' along with the
'Declaration of Accompanied Articles and Unaccompanied Articles. Of course this is SHEIN jewelry so its not gold bullion nor is it a purity of 90% so i put no on my declaration should i change that? Also ive tried to post in this group several times and i keeps getting denied and removed which is pretty annoying im new here so i find it really hard to post freely (hopefully this get posted) .
