Hi. Need advice from people who already went through this.
I'm in the process of applying to ISI Language school long term class starting in October, classes will be in Nagoya. I'd like to mention that I'm not from a rich country at all, and not a rich family either, so for me and my family this is a lot of money. School is demanding I pay 6 months worth of tuition ahead, which is normal I suppose? and I can afford that.
But considering that it is only student Visa, and it allows me to work only 28 hours/ week. From my calculations on avg it will be around 1K$/ month. Considering that I have to pay rent, utilities, transportation, AND put away money for next tuition payment. Can one actually survive like that? My family probably can send me extra 200-300$/month for food and "unexpected" spending, but not much more than that. Should I even bother doing this or I'm going to fail miserably.
