It's been obvious for a while that Kidd is something special; today's amazing performance ends a year which started with him turning Kaito into the hometown hero in NOAH and had plenty of other high spots as well.
It's also been clear for months that he's into Stone Cold Steve Austin 1997 territory, the fans are itching to cheer him and no amount of swearing, chasing babies around the arena or weapons shots is going to change that.
However, at the moment he is in a heel stable which is also top heavy with Finlay, Sanada and Jake Lee, none of whom are as over as he is.
So, what do New Japan do? Have BC turn on him and chuck him out? Split BC, with him and Finlay leading the westerners and Sanada and Jake the Japanese workers (yeah, I know Jake is Korean by descent, if not birthplace). Have him take over BC and kick a bunch of people out (which might make BC a face faction)?
