I’m based in the US and I’ve been looking around for a shikibuton(hoping to switch over from a regular mattress) and i’m looking for some advice. It seems people have mentioned liking takaokaya and futonbedsfromjapan. I was wondering if there were any main differences between these two. They seem similarly priced after shipping, futonbedsfromjapan looks slightly pricier and maybe less pretty fabric options?
There’s a the futon shop store close to where I live and tested the wool and latex shikifuton, it felt nice and it’s on sale rn but i saw some mixed opinions about the futon shop so was unsure.
