I'm trying to figure out how the embassies and consulates view certain assests by their importance for securing an interview since all I can think about (and all I'll likely think about until December) is the strength of my own application. It descibes teaching certificates/QTS, JLPT and TEFL all as 'assets during the selection process' but the testimonies on this sub give wildly different weight to each one. Eg: I've seen people say they prefer people without teaching experience and others say the exact opposite.
