Hi all – My gf and I have been to Japan twice (Kyushu & Honshu) and really enjoyed it. We are now planning our next trip and thought of spending two weeks in Okinawa! But a friend said it's full of Americans who unfortunately can be very loud and obnoxious (some… not all… obviously). My gf and I didn't really enjoy the parts of Japan with a lot of American influence (think Osaka with all the American thrift stores).
So are there a lot of Americans in Okinawa and how long would you recommend staying for a holiday?
