Finding receptionist work in Japan!

Hi y’all!
I’m considering applying for a whv in Japan within the next year or so as I’m approaching the age cut off. I’m currently a well regarded hair stylist where I live, I know that I cannot pursue this while living in Japan without retraining in Japanese but I was wondering if anyone has had experience or know of the logistics of doing receptionist work on a whv in Japan?
Have been playing with the idea of trying to find a job as a salon receptionist so I can still be around the industry and hopefully learn a few things while I’m doing all the front/back end stuff in the salon. Just wondering if this is even possible or if there are even more restrictions on receptionist jobs as a foreigner as well.
