Working remotely for a gambling company based in Japan.

Very specific one perhaps.

I currently work for an online betting company and want to move to Japan. The betting company is based in the UK.

Am I allowed to move to Japan and work there or not since online gambling in Japan is illegal?

Myself personally wont be betting, but my work revolves around esports betting.
