Hi everyone! I am hoping to find teachers who have moved to Japan with AEON company in the past. I am in the process of looking into flights and I would like to travel to South Korea first to adjust to the time difference. I would do so after obtaining my visa. My recruiter said they had never heard of someone doing that before, but they did not directly say "no," nor could I find anything in the company documentation expressly prohibiting it. Basically, my question is if anyone has done something similar to this without issues? I can't seem to think of a visa related reason this would be an issue, but perhaps the company wants their applicants to travel directly to Japan for less hassle, or maybe my recruiter simply didn't know since I asked them rather on the spot during the interview. Anyway any advice would be appreciated.
