Hello
I talked to several schools, and they wanted financial guarantors to be relatives who are already living in Japan, while I have none living there.
Is this legit? Or do they deliberately put this as a requirement with no legal basis? Kindly enlighten me.
I understand it might be for vouching for a person's character. But if no one there, then?
Additionally, is there a school which you might know who can act as guarantors? For students abroad applying for student visa.
Note: I have years of work experience, a bachelor's degree (for work later), and can take care of myself while there.
