After going through hell I managed to land a fully remote job, and I considered trying to live in Japan
I've heard it's possible with a tourist visa to stay there for 3 months, then go to Korea for a weekend and go back will give you another 3 months, is this true?
I visited a year ago for 2 months, and it was amazing, everything I expected it to be (the nature, the cities, the culture, the people)
Looking at how I feel after working in a new country (Canada), it does feel very different, of course, when you have to work 8 hours a day compared to travelling all day.
I worry that the "magic" will wear out and Japan will become just "another place" (which is it in a sense, and I might be too romantic about it), but maybe it's better left as a tourist destination and only that?
