I have N1 proficiency in Japanese and I am applying to a medical school in America. My goal is to become a doctor in Japan. I have read that you will need to do residency in Japan for 2 years. Does this mean I don't need to do residency in NA? Can I just directly go to Japan after my 4 years of medical school?
