Haken Contracts

Hi everyone, I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this, I am looking for opportunities in Japan and in touch with a Japanese recruiter who works for an agency. He told me about Haken contracts and how they work? In first look, it sounds interesting to me but not sure, if it is worth it. What is the benefit?
What are your thoughts and opinions on this?

For background I am a SWE with 3.5 year experience and I open to opportunities in Japan.
Thanks

  1. Former SES (SWE Haken company) agent.

Pro: It is relatively easy to find a workplace compared to regular contract even if you only have 3.5 years of SWE experience and limited Japanese language skills because the workplace can easily limit dispatch contracts. Even if you cannot find a workplace, you will still get paid by the Haken company, and they cannot fire you easily because the contract between you and the Haken company is a regular contract. During this time, you will get paid while receiving education from the Haken company.

Con: 30-40% of your pay goes to the Haken company, so your salary is typically significantly lower than that of regular contracts. They need to cover the costs of SWE who cannot find a workplace, the education of those individuals, as well as other related expenses such as agents, managers, advertisements, and recruiting costs.
