Doing a Master’s Degree in a Japanese University

Hello everyone!

When i started doing my bachelors degree one of the most important objectives was to do a Master's Degree in Japan, and since then I perfected my English (I'm from Spain) and did some research.

But even know I'm more confused than ever about how to enter any university at all. There's a lot of them, but most of the ones I looked had a small twist that made me refuse it (No english programs, entrance exams in japan which I cant afford, and so on), so I keep searching for one.

Did you enter in some university and have an experience like mine? I'm kinda lost 😅. I have a 7.02 mean at my degree (which is really good here they told me), the university has to be public or national and I would love to go on April 2026. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

  1. When I was researching programs and schools, it appeared that there are significantly more masters programs offered in English than for bachelor’s.

You can research more specifics here: [studyinjapan.go.jp/en](https://studyinjapan.go.jp/en)

Tons of great tools on that page to help you search for programs and schools 🙂
