Went to Ninenzaka around 10pm last night, and it was honestly kind of magical.
No tourists, no crowds—just quiet stone paths, soft lights from the old houses, and a breeze that makes the paper lanterns sway a little.
During the day it’s beautiful but chaotic. At night? It feels like you’ve stepped into a different world.
Highly underrated time to go. Bring a friend or go solo with headphones—either way, it hits different.
