I built a calorie counter that works well in Japan — includes konbini foods, one-time payment, no subscription.

While living in Japan, I noticed most calorie counting apps weren’t built with Japanese foods in mind — and many required expensive monthly fees. Some even let anyone upload food data, which makes tracking really inaccurate.

So I built Calorie Counter by Nutrisnap — a fast, lightweight app that includes verified foods from trusted sources, including many common Japanese items (rice balls, bento, convenience store snacks, etc.).

No user-submitted data. No subscriptions. Just a one-time payment. Still working on improving support for local foods and labels — so if anyone here wants to try it out and share feedback, I’d really appreciate it!
