  1. “Excel Plan reported the situation and requested Amazon take appropriate action, but the page listing the genuine oximeter was deleted and the company was unable to sell it, according to the suit.”

    Huh….

  2. Was trying to buy a SSD drive on Black Friday and the top search result on Amazon was some fake 30TB drive for a fraction of the price of a 1TB drive. Some YouTuber bought it and the inside was just a SD card glued to the case. The drive shows up as 30TB when plugged into a PC but if you try to transfer more than 4GB it would fail. Not sure how they’re able to trick the PC into thinking it’s 30TB but man, I would be pissed if I lost my data because of this scam.

  3. I found a few scams and reported them to Amazon. They do take care of them, but honestly, why are they even allowed to be listed? They really need to start vetting their sellers better. If its too good to be true then it is.

  4. I told Amazon JP support about a fake and they issued a refund. They never took down the listing and im assuming everyone else who bought the fake did the same. Waste of time for everyone but I get why they keep allowing it. Money.

  5. Well better than Amazon US since afaik they haven’t been penalized for allowing fake listings

  6. Amazon isn’t as safe as it used to be. Now, before I buy, I check if the seller is Chinese. The fake sellers is raising there.
