Good evening everyone. Does anyone have an idea regarding this matter:
My spouse visa was issued in March 2025 and will expire in June.
But due to some troubles, couldn't go to Japan in March as planned.
The problem is my COE expired on April 10th. Currently renewing it. Prolly gonna get the new one this May.
Do I still have to renew the visa after receiving the new COE or my current visa will suffice?
I have a dreadful experience contacting the Japanese embassy here in my country due to language barrier. They caused me more trouble than help the last time.
Hope anyone can share their knowledge/experience. Appreciate it!
EDIT: My husband is a Japanese and we applied for my COE in Japan last December, approved in January.
He already applied for a new one this week so if everything goes well, I'm expecting the COE will be released this May. I wonder if visa has to be renewed
still if I'm planning to leave before it's expiration this June.
